Mental Health Services

At CDP's Youth Behavioral Health and Substance Use Outpatient Clinic, licensed or license-eligible counselors provide mental and behavioral health care services and substance use therapy in individual, group, and family settings. Staff achieve results by delivering culturally sensitive and trauma-informed mental health care.

Service provision is conducted both in-person and virtually.

Offerings:

  • Outpatient emotional health counseling for youth and adults ages 10-22

  • Substance use counseling

  • Behavioral health services and substance use prevention in partnership with the Richmond Juvenile Detention Center

Session topics can include…

  • Coping with school, work, and relationships

  • Mitigating the effects of trauma and abuse

  • Managing anxiety, depression, and other social and emotional challenges

  • Addressing substance use
