What We Do
Mental Health Services
At CDP's Youth Behavioral Health and Substance Use Outpatient Clinic, licensed or license-eligible counselors provide mental and behavioral health care services and substance use therapy in individual, group, and family settings. Staff achieve results by delivering culturally sensitive and trauma-informed mental health care.
Service provision is conducted both in-person and virtually.
Offerings:
Outpatient emotional health counseling for youth and adults ages 10-22
Substance use counseling
Behavioral health services and substance use prevention in partnership with the Richmond Juvenile Detention Center
Session topics can include…
Coping with school, work, and relationships
Mitigating the effects of trauma and abuse
Managing anxiety, depression, and other social and emotional challenges
Addressing substance use
