Congratulations to our Counselors!

Jessie Shin, LCSW

Gun Violence Prevention Coordinator, Mental Health Clinician

Jessie achieved her LCSW in August. An invaluable asset to CDP, Jessie coordinates programming for the We Matter Gun Violence Prevention Initiative.

Working at Challenge Discovery Projects for the past three years has been an incredible journey. The most rewarding part of my job is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with the youth we serve. I love that I can be creative in my work, finding new ways to engage and inspire. There’s nothing quite like witnessing the growth that comes from the seeds we plant together — it’s truly fulfilling.

Megan Mastrofrancesco, LCSW

Community Programs Coordinator, Clinician and Group Facilitator

Megan achieved her LCSW in June. As the Community Programs Coordinator, Megan is an essential part of the team.

The new year will mark the beginning of my fifth year with Challenge Discovery Projects. Working at CDP has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Most of my clients are children I have worked with for years. Having the pleasure of being a supportive adult in the lives of children is something I take great pride in, as well as the relationships I have built as a result of our time together. Watching them grow, rise above challenges that are presented to them, and develop both socially and emotionally has been an absolute pleasure.
